Don’t know if this is in the Untied States of America, but the usual fine here for running down a pedestrian is a few hours of paperwork. An upset driver could easily break your legs deliberately and pay very little penalty.
Not so in this case. The video would show it was assault with a deadly weapon and/or attempted murder and an injury hit-and-run if the driver subsequently left the area.
Nah, the driver would claim he felt threatened and his response was self-defense. No jury would convict him.
